"Live fast, die young"

tso usually life consists of a routine that any other college student would most definitely live; school work sleep. My life has lived that endless routine for a couple of moths now, but yesterday definitely broke that pattern.

For the first time ever, i had fun the whole day, not just a couple of hours but the whole day. Honestly i woke up saturday morning feeling iffy about how my day was going to turn out. All that i was thinking were words like,”am i going to have fun the whole day” “is it actually going to be worth it” ” am i going to regret it” “do i have a back up plan if it doesn’t work out”. All those phases were unnecessary yesterday. Let me tell you what i did in a chronological sequence.

So i started off by getting ready for the Color Run early in the morning, woke up got into my shorts and white t-shirt and looked up the directions on my laptop. Eric called me that he was running late, and Ambar called me to tell me she was ready with the other gals. I was just on the receiving end freaking out because i was going to drive and i was somewhat scared that i was not going to be able to find parking, just due to the fact that the parking at the HP Pavilion was limited space; first come first serve. Once i got all the kitties in my car i drove off to the location, and i introduced Eric to the gang. I know may have been awkward but it would’ve been rude to not have done so. Through out the race me and Eric kind of separated so that was something i feel shitty about. The girls wanted to walk part of the race and i wanted to actually run it. Any whom, the race was super friendly the host or speaker was always motivating and cheering us on, even before the race actually started. Many smiled were cracked around the event and the color coordination of the teams were interesting. We rallied up to the start line and at the back of the start there was the mascot of the race; a unicorn! I didn’t believe Eric when he told me that the mascot was a unicorn. I think that was very thrilling for me to see. I am a fan of unicorns, just because it represents part of my naive childhood and simply brings back good memories. But back to the story, yeah there was this unicorn throwing bracelets and Frisbees out to the crowd. Eric caught a bracelet put it on, noticed i did not have one and took it off to give to me.That was very nice of him to do. At the start line i was somewhat nervous to actually run the entire race, i was afraid that i was not going to be able to last. I have not tested out my endurance lately. The race was extraordinary! That 5K run felt like a 1K warm up. Seriously, the mood every one shares makes it seem like the run is not as bad. The power stations were so cheerful and very high beat. I recorded and took pictures through out the race. I’ll post some up in a while. The reason why i took pictures and took videos is to share what an amazing experience a race can really be. At the end of the finish line there was like this mini party/rave/moshpit looking like cluster by the stage. We did the Harlem shake and jumped like little jelly beans. With so much fun and excitment i bet most of the runners forgot that they just ran somewhat of a distance.  My experience at the color run is one of the most unforgettable ones yet.

Drove home and the first thing i did was look in the mirror. I now understand why that guy at the Photo Booth saw me and Eric passing by and asked us a couple of times to go take a picture. I thought the guy was a weirdo, he pointed at us and asked if he could take us a picture. I looked like a blue smurf/ avatar! i was covered in blue from head to toe. I have blue and purple in my nostrils and ears even in between my toes. Yep, i was the only looking avart walking around there. So when i got home i showered and scrubbed like i was contaminated with TB. I literally spent like 30 scrubbing every square inch of skin on me body. Even after all that scrubbing i was not able to get the blue and other colors off of my skin, i had to take a second shower later on. Gladly i checked my color cloths in the washer and the stuff looked clean and properly washed out.

Met up with Meral and Kathy for some lunch, and spent about two hours talking about things from managers at work to babies butts. I had a great time seeing my friends. We had multiple good laughs and shared our schedule to meet up sometime through the week. This paragraph seriously deserves and emoji; :D! Lunch was awesome with these two gals.

Drove home and contemplated to do some homework but listened to my body instead and took a two hour nap. My body was pleading for some rest, it had been worked up all day without some sort of a time out for it. I took a one hour nap.

Went out to “dinner” with Eric at Grande Pizzeria, and joined him with simply a glass of water, before the Earthquakes game. Got lost, we couldn’t get to the Buck Shaw Stadium with my brilliant GPS.

Once we got to the soccer stadium i noticed the fans in the 108 section.

The 108 section was composed by 21+ with beer in their hand and sweaty smell floating around. The most passionate Earthquakes fans sat in that section. The 108 section is where all the commotion takes place, it reminded me of Green Street Hooligans. I was looked at funny because i was the only young minor looking girl with out a soccer jersey and sitting in the best spot in that section. A drunk cherry head struck up a conversation with me during half time, she was talking all polite and nicely when she really could’ve just been rude. That section is filled with high energy Ultra Fans that support the Earthquakes and” will sing for them until they die, and if that happens they will sing from the sky”. The score was 1-1 Earthquakes and Colorado something. I took part of all that sining and stomping at about 15 minutes in to the game; if you can’t beat them, join them. Can’t wait for the LA Galaxy game on June 29!  I feel like i’ve been baptized into the Earthquakes. Black and Blue runs through my veins. I think i like soccer a little more than i did before!!! :O I need to go buy a jersey! I’m taking the 29th off and going to show my support! ahhhhh! I thank Eric for last nights game. GO BLACK AND BLUE.

Followed up by a quick session at the hookah and chilled there for a while, the shisha was somewhat intense for me last night, once again i was running on an empty stomach and simply a red bull so my weak ass couldn’t stand it. I was lightheaded before i can even say supercalifragilisticexpyaliocious!

adjuectives to sum up my day, yesterday :amazing, astonishing, peachy, super, terrific.
